Nel mese di gennaio è stato fatto il primo round per eleggere i migliori artisti del 2009 su Whiplash.
A febbraio ci saranno le votazioni finali per eleggere i migliori che sono stati votati nel primo round!

Angra: on line il nuovo sito ufficiale!!!

Direttamente da Metal Press, la press agency ufficiale degli Angra, pubblichiamo la seguente notizia!!

"The band Angra from São Paulo, schedules the launching of his official website on 05 th of February. The total recasting of the website of the band was under the responsability of one of the highest performers in the world market, Gustavo Sazes (Manowar, Kamelot, Almah among others), showing the current visual direction adopted by the quintet. "Gustavo was our first choice to revamp our website, and the result was fantastic ! Really surprised all our best expectations, and fans will certainly enjoy" said the guitarist Rafael Bittencourt.
In parallel, Angra's members prepare to enter Norcal Studios in São Paulo, on 21th of February , to record their new album still untitled.
"The album is almsot done, we still have to finalize some arrangements. We recorded some demos and new songs sound fantastic, it seems to be our most significant conceptual album", said the guitarist Kiko Loureiro.
The new Angra's album, which will have a production signed by the musicians themselves, is expected to be launched in the begining of June this year."

Angra: le nuove canzoni sono quasi pronte!

Un messaggio dal Myspace ufficiale della band ci comunica quanto segue:

"Hey folks!
We are very excited to bring you these news! We are almost done writing the songs for the new album, and we couldn't be happier! There is a general feeling that this is gonna be a really great album. Every time I listen to ourselves playing the songs, I can't help smiling. We are totally into every little detail and small part to make this one of the best Angra albums ever.
The rehearsals are taking place at Ricardo's country house, near São Paulo. We don't have TV or internet, and phone signal is very poor, so we can't help but concentrate fully on the composition process, and this is intentional. We have a whole new set of challenges in the new arragements, since every part of them is being taken to the next level, both technically and musically.
We will enter the studio in mid February, and we'll keep you posted on the latest news.

Intervista a Edu Falaschi su "Tribuna On-Line"!

Edu Falaschi ha rilasciato un'intervista per il giornale "A Tribuna" di Espirito Santo (Brazil) il recente 7 Gennaio 2010, in cui espone i cambiamenti e i progetti della band per questo nuovo anno!
Ecco parte dell'intervista per voi!

"A Tribuna : What the band is doing right now ?

Edu Falaschi : We are recording a new album, conceptual. You will have 10 tracks, but we don't spread the main theme for the moment. The release is scheduled for April. We are doing a quality work, our musicans are recognized in professional publications as references in music.


A tribuna : The band split and came back with some changes. What happened ?

Edu Falaschi : Since 2000, we have grown a great deal. Tripled sales worldwide. In 2006 we released our last album, and saw that we had to stop and reform the band, and resolve outstanding issues. Today we have a career of almost 20 years, consolidated with success in Brazil and abroad, and we are recognized in the global scenario.


A Tribuna : Is there a revival of the fans?

Edu Falaschi :Today fans take their sons to go to the show. We also invite our families, (...). When we played in Sao Paulo, they come to see me. In Guarapari, we will present to the fans hits of our career and introduce the set-list for those who don't know it. "
